The nearest airports are Cologne/Bonn (Köln/Bonn), Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. A taxi from Cologne/Bonn Airport will cost around EUR 40. There is a regular bus service from the airport to Bonn bus station (next to the railway station).To proceed, see below ("by rail"). Trains leave for Bonn every hour from Düsseldorf and Frankfurt Airports. Only IC/EC trains (every 2 hours) go directly to Bonn Main station. Fast train ICE to Cologne Main station / change to Bonn or to stop Bonn/Siegburg / change to tramway.
By train
From Bonn Central Station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof), take a taxi to the Institute. Alternatively, go to the adjacent bus station and take the no. 611 bus (heading for Lessenich) or the no. 610 (heading for Duisdorf). Alight at the bus stop Immenburg.
By car
Take the A565 autobahn. Exit at Bonn-Endenich and follow the signs for Euskirchen/Duisdorf. To reach the Institute, consult the map.
