The 8192-channel-autocorrelator can accept both the
(normal)
150-MHz-IF signal as also the (VLBA) 750-MHz-IF signal. Some receivers
deliver both and some receivers only one of these two IFs. For that
reason
an IF-switching-unit has been built, which delivers the desired IF to
the
8192-channel-AC. The 150-MHz IF is comming from the other IF-Unit
(distributing
the 150-MHz-IF), the 750-MHz-IF from the VLBA-distribution-unit.
Fortunately
it is not necessary to invent a new command for this unit. It is
automatically
switched with the choosen IF for the 8192-ch-AC. But the other two
units
must be set in the right way.
This IF is selected by the
OBSINP-command AIF3
150 or AIF3 750, valid only for the 8192-ch-AC (
see
the manuals).
This unit has a remote/manual switch,
which is also
read by the computer. If this unit shall be used, but the switch is
manual
the backend-program will give an error-message on the
process-color-monitor,
saying
" Error in setting
AK90/AK1024-IF-UNITS "
